Extended Application Deadline for Early Career Faculty Research and Creative Activities Grant

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE) is extending the application deadline for the Early Career Faculty Research and Creative Activities grant. Applications are now due by May 1, and the winner will be notified on May 5.

As a reminder, this year we are awarding one grant of $5,000. The grant must be used to support the research and creative activities of a faculty member affiliated with a NCPE member program who is either: 1) in a tenure track position but has not yet been granted tenure, OR 2) is a full or part-time instructor, lecturer, or adjunct faculty member with five or fewer years of teaching experience.

This grant is intended to help pre-tenure and early career faculty build their research and creative programs, raise their national profiles, and help build their CV at a point when it can have the greatest impact on their career trajectories. If you, or anyone in your program, would benefit from such a grant, please follow the link to the application page below. The application is relatively brief (capped at 5 pages), so it shouldn’t take too much time to complete. Please submit completed applications to NCPE Chair Sue Ann Pemberton at: SueAnn.PembertonHaugh@utsa.edu
